Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly environment and encourage repeat visits.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies; communicate needs to management.
Experience
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of different coffee types is a plus.
- Experience in the food industry is beneficial; understanding food safety practices is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy café setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
