Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
- Assist in food preparation and serving snacks or light meals as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in cofee shop/food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with coffee preparation and serving techniques
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Clover POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is a plus
