Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Servers/Wait Staff to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to foster positive guest relations
- Support host/host duties when needed, including seating arrangements and guest accommodations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially fine dining
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling bills, cash transactions, and check splitting
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
