The Janitorial/Maintenance Superintendent is a critical leadership role responsible for the efficient and effective operation of a facility's maintenance department. In This Role, You Will
- Ensure quality housekeeping, maintenance, and repair practices are followed for the property.
- Oversee daily operations, including all phases of maintenance for common areas (buildings, grounds), and manage external contractors to ensure compliance with company standards and maintenance agreements.
- Identify maintenance needs for common areas, solicit and review contractor bids.
- Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and discipline maintenance staff.
- Maintain roadways, parking areas, curbs, sidewalks, doors, furniture, restrooms, landscaping, floors, lighting, HVAC, stormwater management systems, and roof systems.
