Line Cook

Café Intermezzo, an iconic brand of 41 years based out of Atlanta GA embodies the essence of the 300-year-old European Café. We are now interviewing for Culinary Line Cook positions for our OpenKitchen! We are located on the vibrant corner of Demonbreun Street and 2 nd Ave in Nashville. We are a busy brunch restaurant seeking “Egg-cellent Professionals” who are experienced with their yolks! We serve a variety of small plates, salads, pasta, salmon and chicken dishes as well. You
will be a fundamental part of Café Intermezzo, no matter the day, you set out to provide each guest with an experience that will be remembered long after their stay. We now have amazing opportunities for individuals with passion and enthusiasm to join our team and are excited to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prep and prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
- High Pace and Intensity Productivity in preparing top-quality menu items in a timely manner
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
-Health department ready at all times

What we’re looking for:
- One year experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Experience with eggs cooked to order and omelets
-Ability to read and follow recipes correctly
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Must possess basic math, reading and writing skills
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 35 lbs.
