Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of espresso drinks with precision and flair, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Serve food items and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by performing regular cleaning duties, food handling, and sanitation to ensure food safety compliance.
- Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations
- Support food preparation tasks when necessary, adhering to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent time management to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Support retail sales efforts by engaging customers in product recommendations and promoting ongoing specials or promotions.
Skills
- Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred, but not required; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
