Commercial Construction Superintendent - Frisco, TX

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to manage fast-paced ground-up commercial construction projects and tenant improvement remodels throughout the greater North Texas and DFW Metroplex area. Projects will primarily range from $1M to $5M in value and require aggressive construction schedules, often targeting completion within approximately 120 days.

This is a hands-on field leadership position requiring a Superintendent who can actively manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, and daily onsite operations while maintaining strong communication with project management and ownership teams.

Candidates must have verifiable commercial construction experience. Residential construction experience alone will not be considered.

Preference will be given to applicants residing on the northeast side of the DFW Metroplex; however, all qualified candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all onsite construction activities from mobilization through project completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and field operations
• Maintain project schedules and drive production to meet compressed construction timelines
• Prepare and maintain three-week look-ahead schedules and daily reporting
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain clean, organized jobsites
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Oversee jobsite logistics including temporary utilities, fencing, signage, and access control
• Coordinate inspections, RFIs, change orders, and field documentation
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings and project records
• Ensure quality control standards are met throughout all phases of construction
• Lead punch list completion, commissioning, and project closeout activities
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, architects, inspectors, and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
• Proven experience managing commercial ground-up projects ranging from $1M to $5M
• Demonstrated success delivering projects on accelerated schedules of approximately 120 days
• Experience with ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and commercial remodels
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with scheduling software, project documentation, and Microsoft Office
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the North Texas region as needed
• Recent project list required with resume submission

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with documented experience in:

• Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) construction
• Fuel station and convenience store construction
• Airport concessions construction

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and humidity
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk active jobsites, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and operate construction equipment as needed

Compensation

• Initial Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually
• Compensation review following successful completion of first project
