JOB SUMMARY
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Enforces company security regulations. Protects the transfer of money and chips from Change Booth to Main Cage. Performs all customer safety duties for the casino. Represents the company and its property to ensure all casino regulations are adhered to at all times. Patrols all sections of the casino to identify safety hazards and breaks in security. Interviews, investigates and documents all applicable incidents, in accordance with company policies. Acts as a role model, always presenting oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time regardless of weather conditions. Previous public relations or security experience is desirable. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Education and/or Experience: High school graduate or GED is required.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds. Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area. Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip and carry heavy loads and run on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to see and also remember the specific details of incidents and persons. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
