The Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs is currently seeking Temporary Paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year to fulfill various needs in buildings based on student enrollment, IEP's, programming and instruction. Positions may include Instructional Paraprofessional, 1:1 Support Paraprofessional, or other specific assignments, as detailed by administration, to support student achievement and well-being. All positions are full-time.
This posting includes anticipated openings for Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs only. Positions will be assigned to John S. Charlton or ILC - various classroom locations throughout the District.
QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals who currently hold or are eligible for an Instructional Paraeducator Permit are encouraged to apply.

- Hold a high school diploma or recognized equivalent AND
- Meet testing requirements by either:
- Earning a qualifying score of 459 on the ParaPro Assessment (1755) (available through August 31, 2026), or
- Achieving scores of 332 on ParaPathways: Reading and Writing (5758) and 334 on ParaPathways: Mathematics (5759)
- Hold an associate degree or have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours from a regionally accredited institution, with a grade of "C" or better in each course

- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
