What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mathematics Teacher - Middle Level - temporary for the 2025-2026 School Year position at Caesar Rodney School District?
This posting is for a full time, Middle Level Mathematics teaching position at Fred Fifer III Middle School. This is a temporary position for School Year 2025-2026.
Individuals who will be eligible or possess Middle Level Mathematics Teacher certification are encouraged to apply. Candidates must apply online.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Middle Level Math Education. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license.
Out of State Candidates: An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License. The State of Delaware Department of Education may recognize standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.

- Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver’s License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
