Summary
The HR Operations Specialist a subject matter expert on HR processes and systems. This role is responsible for resolving escalated issues, managing process workflows, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with internal standards. This role will sit in Tampa, FL or Arlington, TX.

Process Management & HR Operations
Owns and executes HR transactions and acts as the escalation point for issues requiring higher-level guidance/problem-solving.
- Execute complex HR Transactions and serve as a point of escalation for advanced situations
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and system issues, including processing corrections and retroactive updates in Workday
- Perform quality reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance of HR transactions and employee data
- Manage and administer severance processes, including preparation of documentation, validation of calculations, and coordination with payroll and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payouts.
- Maintain and support Workday organizational structures ensuring alignment with business needs and data integrity
Reporting, Analytics, & Compliance
Supports HR data and compliance initiatives through reporting and documentation updates. Ensures reporting is accurate and aligned with team needs and policies.
- Support HR reporting and compliance efforts
- Maintaining accurate documentation and data integrity
- Develop and maintain data dashboards and reporting tools (DOMO/Power BI) to provide actionable insights
- Analyze and distribute reports on HR metrics such as turnover, hiring trends, and workforce data
- Maintain and enhance process documentation to support operational consistency
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery
Continuous Improvement & Team Development
Helps build team capability by mentoring peers and identifying improvements to current practices. This promotes quality, consistency and scalability.
- Mentor and support team members, including cross training and knowledge sharing
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to ensure seamless handoffs and aligned processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that elevate service delivery and team effectiveness
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in HR functions
- Associates Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience working in HR Information Systems
- Experience processing HR transactions and resolving system or data issues
- Strong analytical skills, including comfort with data reporting and compliance tracking
- Proven ability to train, mentor, or guide others
- Strong understanding of HR compliance
- Ability to work cross functionally and manage sensitive requests or escalations
- Strong initiative in improving processes and documentation (SOP’s)
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Power Suite (Power Automate, PowerApps)
- Experience in DOMO and Power BI
- Experience in Workday and SharePoint
- Experience in HR Operations or a similar function supporting core HR processes
Security Responsibilities

All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

Work Environment
- Duties performed in an office environment and manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to work overtime on and off-shifts as required.
