Job Summary
The Seasonal Onboarding Specialist supports high-volume hiring and onboarding for CADY’s hourly seasonal roles in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for guiding new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation is completed, and maintaining a seamless and positive candidate experience.
They ensure seasonal team members are fully prepared to begin work within established timelines by monitoring onboarding progress, assisting candidates with ATS and pre-employment requirements, and partnering closely with hiring managers and studio leaders. Through strong organization, communication, and a sense of urgency, this role helps successfully activate and onboard top seasonal talent across all studios.
This is a seasonal position with an anticipated end date of October 2nd.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume onboarding for new hires across assigned markets
- Monitor new hire progress and ensure all onboarding tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain and track onboarding workflows within the ATS to ensure timely completion of each step
- Coordinate start dates and communicate onboarding requirements to new hires and hiring managers
- Ensure completion of all required documentation, background checks, and employment forms
- Track and report on onboarding progress, activation timelines, and completion rates
- Proactively identify and resolve onboarding delays to ensure seasonal employees are ready to begin work on schedule
- Communicate consistently with new hires to deliver a positive and seamless onboarding experience
- Support orientation sessions and other seasonal onboarding initiatives as needed
Job Requirements
(Qualifications, Skills, & Education)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a satisfactory background check
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills; can interact effectively across multiple levels (i.e. candidates, hiring managers, executives, and external partners)
- Able to learn and leverage the CADY employer value proposition in filling key roles
- Outstanding follow-through, self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinker, and proven ability to create simple, sustainable, and organized workflows and processes
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and with several business units
- Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in both a team environment and as a proactive individual contributor
- Professional maturity, open to feedback and willing to learn; flexibility with tasks assigned
Ex Experience
- Experience in HR, customer service, or administrative support preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and candidate workflows
- Experience with ATS or onboarding systems is a plus
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment regularly.
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach within an office environment.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 15 lbs., such as files, office supplies, or equipment.
- Comfortable working in a standard indoor office setting with moderate noise levels.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through virtual meeting platforms.
