Position Summary:
The Production Manager is responsible for the leadership, growth, and management of the Production of Cadwell’s advanced neurodiagnostic equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring production meets company goals for product quality, staff safety, production throughput, and regulatory compliance, while fostering a collaborative environment. Additionally, they continuously monitor the production workload and environment to identify ways to strategically grow and scale production systems to meet Cadwell's growing business needs.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Oversees and leads the day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets and schedules are met or exceeded
- Manages production scheduling to meet Plan vs. Actual (P vs. A) targets and customer demand.
- Proactively identifies, develops, and tracks departmental KPIs to measure results and adapt systems to meet Cadwell’s business needs
- Ensures manufacturing teams are appropriately staffed, trained, and equipped to meet quality and production standards; proactively partners with Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure production needs are met
- Partners with Manufacturing Engineering during NPI handoffs to confirm production floor readiness, including staffing levels, line capacity, and throughput requirements needed to meet demand at full-scale launch
- Ensure the team, process, and systems align with applicable regulations (FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, 2017/745/EU Medical Device Regulation); supports Quality Assurance team with both CAPAs and audits from internal and external sources
- Manages departmental labor and costs; monitors budget variances and drives corrective actions
- Promotes a culture of employee engagement, collaboration, and accountability across all levels
- Other activities as directed, assigned, or requested
Job Knowledge / Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing best practices, preferably in a regulated environment such as medical or aerospace.
- Demonstrated ability to drive measurable improvements in key metrics such as lead time, throughput, on-time delivery, and scrap reduction.
- Working knowledge of ERP and inventory management systems supporting the order fulfillment of serialized and lot-controlled items in multi-site warehouses.
- Proven success in managing production teams and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to lead and drive cross-functional efforts with a professional and solutions-oriented approach. Ability to manage more than one effort at once.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats with Operations, Quality, Service, Sales and leadership teams.
- Preferred experience with Production Scheduling Implementation
Education / Experience:
- Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (required)
- Typically has greater than seven (7) years of progressive leadership in manufacturing operations.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- Positions working with Cadwell equipment generally may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.
- Extensive use of computer will be required.
- Travel may be required; must be able to obtain necessary travel documents.
- Work hours outside normal business hours may be required at times to meet business needs.

Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
