OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for an experienced Process Tech I for 3rd Shift, Monday - Friday 10pm -6:30 am. The position is
responsible for the setup and documentation of set up of all molds (based on the Priority Production Set up list issued daily by the Operations Manager). This position will ensure all molds are correctly tagged and identified and stored in a standard location. They will provide a catalog of mold locations of all departments (Manufacturing, Tooling, Engineering, Quality and Logistics) and will update as appropriate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Startup of machines utilizing the process parameters contained in the Job Book and submit molded samples to Quality Control.
- Make necessary adjustments to allow jobs to run at standard.
- Fill in for the Shift Supervisor as required.
- Provide a “line up” to the incoming shift detailing actions required.
- This position is responsible for keeping all tools, clamps, ejector bars, hoses, nozzles, and nozzle tips in order and available at the machines.
- Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management or shift supervisor.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-8 years of experience as a Set up Technician in Manufacturing and Plastic Injection Molding.
- Five to eight years experience with set-up, start-up and shut-down of machines.
- Mechanical experience and problem solving skills.
- Troubleshooting cosmetic and dimensional parts.
- Set-up of molds.
- Documenting set-ups and processes for optimal efficiencies.
- Forklift experience.
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or equivalent.
