About the Role:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of warehouse activities within the transportation and warehousing industry. This position is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse functions including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving processes. The Warehouse Supervisor leads and motivates a team of warehouse associates to meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. They collaborate closely with logistics, procurement, and distribution teams to optimize workflow and support business objectives. Ultimately, the role ensures that goods are stored, handled, and dispatched accurately and on time to meet customer and company expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
- Experience with transportation and warehousing industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in advanced warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

- Prepare and maintain operational reports, including productivity metrics, inventory status, and incident reports.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain service levels.
