Job Summary To work on all aspects of removals, collections, deliveries of personal effects, art and antiques under the management of immediate supervisor. Knowledge, Skills and Experience High school diploma / GED requiredSome experience in moving and art handling industry; packing, handling art, furniture and antiquities on a local and interstate basis.Some logistical warehousing and moving experience.Understanding of inventory processes and the ability to learn how to improve on handling furniture, art and antiquities from collection through to installation Excellent problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsImpeccable communication and multitasking skillsAbility to accurately execute detailed paperwork and condition reportingTeam player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environmentComfortable in a results-driven workplaceProfessional demeanor at all timesExperience with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, bars, dollies and other necessary logistics equipmentAbility to safely lift50 pounds and maneuver objects of substantial size and weight on a daily basis without damage to object or person, including the ability to push and pull 120 pounds on a dolly or cartAbility to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist and reach overheadKey Responsibilities Collections and deliveries on a daily basis, locally and interstate as neededAssist in the control fall paperwork when on site or working in the field, including all condition reporting for goodsWork with the Driver to ensure vehicle used is always safe, clean and prepared for the day or trip as required, verify what goods are needed at the start of every day or trip based on the daily trip sheet or trip manifestEnsure all modifications to daily trip manifest are reported and verified by the Operations Manager /Dispatch Manager prior to making any modificationsProper handling, of art objects, fragile and artistic material, antique and fine furnitureAssist with installation projectsPreparation of condition checks and condition reports as neededPack artworks, antiquities and fine furniture for transportation and storageAssist in the loading and unloading of Cadogan Tate trucksSupport the Warehouse Team as directed by the ManagerSupport Warehouse Manager with managing inventoryAble to take direction while working with small crewsAssist in scan property to ensure accurate inventory locations are always maintainedEnsure a high degree of detail and focus on every jobOn occasion you may be required to start your day or end your day at a location other than Cadogan Tate, in these instances you are required to complete a manual time sheet and to have this signed by the supervisor or your manager within 24 hours of the start or end of the day.General Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures, and all other Company policies and procedures in placeAdhere to all Health & Safety policies and proceduresTo act at all times in the best interests of Cadogan Tate, its customers and its employees
