What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at Cadiz Pharmacy?
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. Current hours would be every other Saturday (8 AM - 1 PM). Responsibilities include dispensing medications, providing drug information, and offering excellent customer service.
- Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
- Conduct patient assessments and provide medication therapy management
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Oversee inventory management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology to deliver high-quality care
- Provide counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Administer immunizations and provide proper education
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Registered Pharmacist from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacist license in good standing
- Proficiency in medication administration and patient assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Immunization Certification
