Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to meet operational standards.
• Conduct floor care procedures including stripping, waxing, polishing floors and carpet cleaning to preserve their appearance and safety.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold hotel standards.
• Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate janitorial equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability for daily operations.

Experience

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, waxing, and carpet extraction is highly desirable.
• Previous hospitality experience that demonstrates excellent customer service skills is a plus.
• Knowledge of janitorial or industrial cleaning practices that promote health and safety standards.
• Experience managing housekeeping tasks in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
