Position Description

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. The Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their requirements and develop strategies to attract candidates effectively. This role involves managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and onboarding new hires.  The objective is to be fast, first, complete the interview process and offer a position.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Sourcing and Recruitment: Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals to source qualified candidates. Proactively identify passive candidates and engage them through targeted outreach efforts. 

  • Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications against job requirements. Coordinate and conduct interviews, both virtual and in-person, to evaluate candidates' fit for specific roles. Candidates must be contacted by text message, email and phone call within 1 hour of inquiry on business days.  Candidates who apply over the weekend or over the holidays must be contacted within the first hour of the next business day.   

  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and define candidate profiles. Provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process, including interview scheduling, feedback collection, and decision-making. 

  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, feedback, and guidance. Act as a brand ambassador for the organization, promoting its values and culture to prospective candidates. 

  • Talent Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. Develop relationships with potential candidates and maintain regular communication to keep them engaged and informed about relevant opportunities. 

  • Offer Negotiation and Closing: Manage the offer process, including presenting job offers, negotiating terms, and addressing candidate concerns or objections. Work closely with hiring managers and HR to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages. 

  • Interviewing: CNAs/other designated positions will be interviewed as appropriate 

  • Onboarding and Integration: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to develop onboarding plans and support new employees as they acclimate to their roles. 

  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or other relevant platforms. Generate reports and metrics to track recruitment performance, identify trends, and make data-driven improvements.  Such information must be provided timely to the corporate office so that it can be incorporated in the weekly company-wide reporting transmittal.  

  • Weekly Recruitment Report: Produce and distribute to the corporate office and Administrator, the Weekly Recruitment Report that incorporates all candidates (this includes corporate referrals and center applicants) who were screened, interviewed and/or hired, with comments as appropriate. (Sample attached) 

  • Confidentiality: recruiter has frequent access to sensitive confidential information (salaries, resumes, etc).  Accordingly, recruiter must execute the company’s confidentiality agreement which will be strictly enforced. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) or previous Cadia Healthcare experience approved by SVP. 

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related HR function. 

  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders. 

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technology tools. 

  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality talent solutions to meet business objectives.
