This role goes beyond dashboard development-it requires ownership of analytics outcomes, strong business context, and the ability to guide both clients and internal teams.This position is suited for a seasoned analytics professional who thrives in a consulting environment and is motivated by solving complex business problems through data.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalytics Leadership & VisualizationLead the design, development, and optimization of advanced dashboards and analytical applications using Spotfire and Power BI.Architect analytics solutions for oil and gas use cases, including production, drilling, completions, reservoir, supply chain, HSE, and financial reporting.Establish and enforce best practices for visualization design, performance, scalability, and user adoption.Review and mentor the work of other analytics team members as needed.Data Integration & Analytics EngineeringDesign and oversee data integration approaches across relational databases, SQL-based sources, Dataverse, and Databricks.Develop and optimize complex SQL for data transformation, modeling, and reporting.Evaluate data quality, identify gaps, and drive resolution with client and internal stakeholders.Provide guidance on analytics architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization.Client Engagement & Insight DeliveryServe as a senior analytics advisor to clients, translating business objectives into effective analytical solutions.Lead requirements discussions and analytics design sessions with business and technical stakeholders.Deliver insights that drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and strategic planning.Present analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and executive audiences.Consulting, Enablement & StandardsLead or support client workshops, demos, and knowledge-transfer sessions.Coach and enable end users to improve analytics adoption and self-sufficiency.Define, document, and evolve analytics standards, templates, and best practices.Contribute to the continuous improvement of Cadeon's analytics delivery methodology and IP.Required Skills & Qualifications5 years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise-grade analytics solutions.Advanced expertise in Spotfire and Power BI, including complex expressions, DAX, and Power Query.Strong SQL skills with experience working across large, complex datasets.Proven experience working with oil and gas data (production, drilling, reservoir, HSE, financials).Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or modern cloud analytics platforms.Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and analytics performance optimization.Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex insights clearly and confidently.Preferred / Nice to HavePrior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.Exposure to Spotfire Data Science, Python, or advanced analytics techniques.Familiarity with governed analytics environments and enterprise data governance practices.Experience supporting analytics modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.Ideal Candidate ProfileSenior-level analytics professional with a strong mix of technical expertise and business acumen.Comfortable owning analytics outcomes end to end-from requirements through delivery and adoption.Self-directed, accountable, and confident operating in ambiguous or complex client environments.Passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering analytics that create real business value.Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced consulting environment.Why Join CadeonAt Cadeon, our people are our greatest asset.
