Regional Sales Manager
This role is responsible for leading a team of Associate Region Managers (ASMs) and Territory Business Managers (TBMs) in managing existing and acquiring new lubricant and related products accounts in Passenger Car, On and Off Highway and Industrial industries. You will be expected to manage and build your region’s customer base, achieve volume and profit goals, lead key company initiatives and represent the vision, mission and values of Cadence Petroleum Group.
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) has a hands-on, strategic approach to working with TBMs, operations and suppliers to grow share-of-wallet with existing accounts and develop new business through a consultative sales approach. The RSM has a desire to enjoy winning against the competition and bring new ideas to the table that foster gross profit growth and professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in preferably in Marketing or Business
Proven leadership with the ability to drive sales, build relationships with key-account decision makers and show TBMs how to engage prospects and win new business
Proficiency with CRM (Zoho is a plus) platforms to drive pipeline engagement and territory management, along with Microsoft Excel and Office programs
- Experience using high-level reporting tools to measure results and drive actions to hit growth targets such as; (not limited to) Tableau, Oracle, Power BI, etc.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution to meet deadlines
- Ability to analyze evolving market trends and communicate key takeaways to educate team
- Experience training team on how to overcome objections and problem solve
- Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
- Ability to work from office, in the field with TBMs, and occasional overnight travel
Experience in the lubricants industry is not required although it can be advantageous. A background or a network within the industrial, on-highway or off-highway commercial, and/or automotive markets is preferred.
