Our Associate teachers play a key role in our Montessori classrooms, cultivating high quality learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, preschool and Kindergarten aged students (birth through 6 years old). Associate Responsibilities
- Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers;
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy;
- Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;
- Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;
- Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.
- Minimum Required: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework;
- At least 18 years of age
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development).
