This position will be managing PMO projects in a financial institution. Qualified candidates will have experience working within a project management office in a Financial Institution.
This is a REMOTE position.

Reports To: Director of Project Management
Working Conditions: Normal, no adverse or hazardous conditions
Job Grade Category: Exempt
Work Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the management of projects within the Operations/Administration division of the enterprise. Oversees all phases of projects: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closing.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of projects
Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects
Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Performs a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude expected
Leads and directs the work of others.
Job Specifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of project management or in a related area.
Familiar with financial institutional regulations and related compliance initiatives.
Self-starter.
Able to work in a team or independent environment.
Able to meet time deadlines and multi-task between projects and day to day activities.
Exceptional computer skills
Proficiency with cloud based collaborative tools (Google Suite/Microsoft 365)
Proficiency with collaborative project management tools
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
