What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caddo Detention Corrections Deputy position at Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office?
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following are the minimum qualifications required for this position.
· Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
· Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and use sound judgment in decision-making.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
· Ability to work up to 12 hours a day and seven days a week.
· Must pass a Criminal Background Check, Physical Examination, and Drug Urinalysis testing.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
The following are the core knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform this job.
· Knowledge of correctional facility rules, regulations, and security procedures.
· Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and manage critical situations involving inmates.
· Understanding of rehabilitation programs and their importance in the correctional system.
· Proficiency in documenting incidents and maintaining detailed records.

Pay: Up to $45,700.00 per year
