Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Deburrer to prepare precision components for final assembly and inspection. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, steady focus, and a commitment to producing high-quality, defect-free parts. In this vital role, you will be responsible for meticulously removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from precision aerospace components to ensure they meet strict quality standards and safety requirements. You will work with aerospace materials and maintain compliance with strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Deburr, finish, and inspect aerospace components to tight tolerances
- Use hand tools, power tools, and deburring machines safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Perform visual and tactile inspections for quality and completeness
- Perform quality control checks throughout the deburring process to verify that parts meet all dimensional and surface finish requirements.
- Report defects or discrepancies to the quality team
- Maintain a clean, organized, work area adhering to safety protocols and manufacturing standards at all times.
- Support team workflow and production schedules
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an aerospace deburrer or in a similar precision manufacturing role within the aerospace industry.
- Skilled in manual deburring and finishing techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, GD&T specifications, work instructions, and technical drawings accurately.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and quality-focused
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
