The Role
We are hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to produce tight-tolerance aerospace components. You'll be trusted to set up, program, and run your own jobs, make decisions at the machine, and work with a team that values quality over rushing parts out the door.
This is a hands-on role for machinists who enjoy problem-solving, precision work, and seeing parts done right the first time.
What You'll Do
- Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes
- Run Hardinge and Mori Seiki machines (Fanuc controls preferred)
- Machine complex aerospace parts to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Make program edits and offsets at the machine
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
- Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and CMMs
- Troubleshoot tooling, setups, and machining issues
- Perform routine maintenance and tooling changes
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We're Looking For
- 5 years CNC Lathe experience (aerospace or precision machining preferred)
- Strong setup and programming skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Solid blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience holding tight tolerances
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
