What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSHS Registrar IMMEDIATE HIRE 1.0 FTE position at Cactus Shadows High School?
Supports District schools and principals in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students. Maintains student records, the master schedule and school attendance records.
MAJOR TASKS:
- Maintains current student’s cumulative files.
- Requests records for incoming students.
- Sends student records for withdrawn students.
- Processes transcript requests.
- Works with administrators in developing master schedule and entering all data into computer.
- Processes schedule changes and directing information to appropriate departments.
- Receives new student records and inputs pertinent data in computer.
- Processes student withdrawals and notifies appropriate departments.
- Prepares state attendance/enrollment reports.
- Monitors status of open enrollment students and out of district students.
- Inputs student registration information.
- Prepares reports at request of principal.
- Provides input to administration regarding attendance procedures, policies, and practices.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to learn and operate computer as required.
- Ability to type accurately.
- Knowledge of office methods and operation of office equipment.
- Ability to apply knowledge of District and state policies, regulations, and school laws.
