What You Will Do
- Master Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and computer system issues across multiple makes and models. Accurate, efficient diagnosis is crucial to this role.
- Bumper-to-Bumper Repair: Execute comprehensive, bumper-to-bumper repairs on all vehicle systems, ensuring every vehicle meets safety and performance standards.
- Execute Heavy Line Repairs: Perform complex engine and transmission rebuilds, replacements, and major mechanical teardowns.
- Manage Basic Maintenance: Oversee routine auto care tasks including fluid flushes, oil changes, and multi-point safety inspections.
- Maintain Shop Standards: Keep the repair bay clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
What We Look For
- Shop Experience: Professional automotive repair shop experience is required (dealership or large-scale independent shop environment is strongly preferred).
- Technical Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional automotive engine repair, rebuilding, and extensive bumper-to-bumper mechanical experience.
- Technical Skill: Advanced diagnostics mastery, a deep understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems, and heavy line work capabilities.
- Physical Ability: Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
