Set Pay: $28–$35/hour
Positions:
- Shop Mechanic -5:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Field Mechanic - 2:00 PM–10:00 PM

Position Summary
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining heavy equipment both in the shop and out in the field. This includes troubleshooting diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Field Mechanics will operate a service truck and travel to job sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is job-ready
- Complete all required documentation (timesheets, work orders, logs)
- Maintain clean and safe work areas and service vehicles
- Follow all company and safety regulations
- Travel to job sites (Field Mechanics only)
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience as a heavy equipment or diesel mechanic
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience operating asphalt-related equipment preferred
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various physical conditions
- Dependable, with strong communication skills
- Safety-focused mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (clean record required); CDL preferred
- Vocational or technical training a plus
