Full-Time Cactus & Succulent Nursery Worker
Location: Cactus and Succulent nursery in Fair Oaks
Job Type: Full-Time
We are a cactus and succulent nursery looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team full-time. If you enjoy working with plants and don't mind getting your hands dirty, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Water, maintain, and care for a wide variety of cacti and succulents
- Pot and repot plants as needed
- Pack online orders carefully and accurately for shipment
- Process and prepare orders for shipping
- Assist with inventory organization and labeling
- Set up and break down displays at plant shows, markets, and events
- Load and unload plants, supplies, and display materials for events
Qualifications
- Plant knowledge, especially with cacti and succulents, is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail when handling plants and customer orders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and enjoys working with plants. Prior nursery or greenhouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
