SUMMARY:
Cacique Foods is seeking an experienced D365 FO Business Analyst with a strong focus on Planning to join our team. This role is essential in driving efficient and effective end-to-end planning operations across the organization through our Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) platform. The ideal candidate will support system enhancements, manage cross functional support activities, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within Planning, Supply Chain, and Production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary SME for D365 FO Planning and Supply Chain modules, including Master Planning, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Management, Production Control, and related functionality.
- Analyze and optimize planning related business processes, ensuring alignment across Supply Chain, Operations, Production, Procurement, and Warehousing.
- Translate complex planning and operational requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications for configuration, development, and solution design.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Production, and Procurement stakeholders to understand planning challenges and implement scalable process improvements.
- Configure and enhance D365 FO planning functionalities, such as coverage groups, master planning parameters, BOM/Routing structures, scheduling, and forecasting tools.
- Manage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets related to planning, production, and supply chain operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including planning processes, system configurations, SOPs, and training materials.
- Partner with IT and external integrations teams to support planning related integrations (e.g., forecasting systems, MES, WMS, procurement tools).
- Perform planning related data analysis and reporting, supporting capacity planning, production scheduling, inventory optimization, and demand/supply alignment.
- Provide training and ongoing support to planners, schedulers, buyers, and operational teams, enabling effective use of D365 FO functionality.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience working directly with Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX 2012) and/or D365 Finance & Operations (FO).
- Strong functional expertise in Planning and Supply Chain modules within D365 FO, with hands-on experience in Master Planning (MRP), Demand Forecasting, Inventory, and Production.
- Experience supporting additional D365 FO functional areas (e.g., Manufacturing, Procurement, Warehousing).
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work through complex planning and operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and nontechnical teams.
