Duties
- Perform lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure optimal health and appearance of clients’ landscapes
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to carry out landscaping projects and garden enhancements
- Apply pest control treatments accurately to protect plants from pests and diseases
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors or aerators to prepare large outdoor areas for planting or maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of lawns and gardens to identify issues related to pests, weeds, or plant health concerns
- Assist with sales by advising clients on lawn care products or services that meet their needs
- Drive company vehicles safely to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations
Skills
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscaping practices, and pest control methods
- Experience with farming or agricultural activities is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery confidently and safely
- Excellent driving skills with a valid license for operating company vehicles on job sites
- Familiarity with basic sales principles to effectively communicate service benefits to clients
