Job Description
Cache Roofing and Waterproofing is seeking experienced Waterproofers to install commercial and residential waterproofing systems, including Plidek, Con-Dek, and Miracote. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in hands-on waterproofing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install waterproofing systems on roofs, decks, foundations, and other structures
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and removing existing roofing or waterproofing materials as needed
- Inspect surfaces to identify leaks, damage, or potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Apply membranes, coatings, sealants, and flashing materials according to manufacturer specifications
- Ensure proper sealing around penetrations such as vents, skylights, drains, and transitions
- Safely use hand and power tools including hammers, drills, grinders, torches, and spray equipment
- Operate ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and fall protection systems in compliance with safety standards
- Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and work orders accurately
- Communicate effectively with foremen, supervisors, team members, and clients when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications:
- 2 years of roofing and/or waterproofing experience is mandatory.
- Knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and waterproofing techniques.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and equipment use.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and in a team.
