Duties
- Develop and implement employment strategies tailored to clients' skills, interests, and needs.
- Assess potential clients to match them with suitable job opportunities.
- Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and training to clients to promote workplace success and retention.
- Collaborate with local employers and community organizations to identify job openings and facilitate placements.
- Assist clients with resume building, interview preparation, and skill development activities such as teaching and workforce development programs.
- Provide transportation services for clients to ensure punctuality and reliability for job interviews, training sessions, and work shifts.
- Maintain detailed records of client progress, employment outcomes, and transportation schedules while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Offer support in social work aspects related to addiction counseling or behavioral challenges as needed.
- Conduct outreach activities to expand program participation and foster community relationships.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of addiction counseling principles or experience in teaching or mentoring roles is a plus.
- Excellent interviewing, recruiting, and training & development skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community partners.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation required for client support activities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
