**Job Summary:**
We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to work in a severe special education classroom with 7th-8th graders. Attend electives mainly Art, Choir, Theatre, FACS, and PE outside the classroom. Teach students their individual goals (Math, Reading, and Writing) in the classroom. Walk down to lunch and help students access lunch. Helping all students become as independent as possible.
**Responsibilities:**
- Work closely with students with various disabilities to provide individualized support
- Assist in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students in various educational settings.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
**Requirements:**
- Positive attitude to learn to work and enjoy being with special education students.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students and teachers.
- Previous experience working with students in a special education classroom is not mandatory.
- Eager to implement lessons created by the teacher.
- A willingness to learn and participate in group teaching.
- Willing to participate in personal care when needed.
- Help students become independent.
