THE OPPORTUNITY
We are a well-established wholesaler of restaurant front- and back-of-the-house supplies, located in central New Jersey. We are looking for an experienced, talented Marketing Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Create content for both digital and printed media; execute marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Update and maintain product specifications and pricing in the ERP system and marketing literature.
- Organize and manage trade shows and other marketing events to increase company visibility and present products to prospective customers.
- Conduct competitive research by analyzing competitors’ pricing, sales strategies, marketing tactics, and distribution channels to support informed management decisions.
- Perform market research to gather and analyze data; identify potential products and provide insight for product development.
- Assist in the development of new products, including conducting competitive analysis and formulating pricing strategies.
- Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or other related fields
- 2-4 years of related work experience, including copywriting and proofreading experience
- Work experience in the foodservice industry a plus
- Proficiency in graphic design/editing (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) and email marketing tools (e.g., Canva) a plus
- Photography skills and experience a plus
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English preferred
- Flexibility to work extended hours or travel as needed

- Knowledge of market research and product validation techniques
- Extremely action, organized and detail-orientated
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Ability to follow direction, multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Project and time management skills; ability to rearrange tasks as priorities change
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive.
- H-1B visa sponsorship is available if necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
