Wear appropriate dress that reflects your professional position as a teacher. Indicate the teacher for whom you are substituting. Th office has been notified that you will be on campus this day. Learn the correct attendance procedure. Follow the regular teacher's lesson plan closely. Substitutes are normally required to correct assignments unless the teacher has left other instructions. Substitute teachers are required to leave a brief note indicating what transpired during the day. Report to the school secretary before leaving for the day to turn in your key and sign your slip for payroll. All video, films and AV equipment selected by the substitute must be approved by the site principal prior to presentation to the class.
