Key Responsibilities
- Manage office budget, track expenses, and ensure financial documentation is complete
- Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate equipment needs
- Assist in payroll processing and audit employee timesheets and mileage logs
- Onboard new hires and ensure completion of all employment documentation
- Maintain accurate employee HR files, licenses, evaluations, and certifications
- Ensure vendor contracts and required documentation are current and compliant
- Process accounts payable invoices and secure necessary approvals
- Act as central point of communication between office staff, clinical team, leadership, and patient families
- Plan and coordinate staff events, team-building activities, and office celebrations
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of office management experience in a healthcare or hospice setting
- Knowledge of California HR policy preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically under pressure
- Demonstrated empathy and professionalism when working with patients and families
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with hospice-specific EMR systems preferred
- Salary: $80,000 – $92,000 per year, depending on experience
