What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner position at Cabral Internal Medicine PLLC?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Skills:
- Provide high quality of care
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Experience in Internal Medicine would be ideal but we can train
