Since 1945, Brown Jordan has been the industry leader in luxury outdoor furniture, known for iconic and award-winning designs. The Brown Jordan heritage of design, quality and craft will always be in style.

Position Summary:

The Showroom Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, presentation, and performance of the Brown Jordan showroom. This individual serves as the face of the brand to interior designers, architects, dealers, and retail clients curating an elevated showroom experience, driving sales and specification activity, and ensuring the space consistently reflects the craftsmanship and prestige of the Brown Jordan name. The ideal candidate blends strong sales and client-relationship instincts with an eye for design, merchandising, and operational discipline.

Major Duties:

•   Oversee all daily operations of the showroom, including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product presentation standards.

•   Welcome and engage showroom visitors — trade professionals, designers, architects, and retail clients — providing knowledgeable, consultative guidance on Brown Jordan collections, materials, and customization options.

•   Drive showroom sales performance against revenue and specification targets; convert walk-in and appointment traffic into qualified opportunities and closed business.

•   Build and maintain relationships with A&D (architecture and design) firms, dealers, and repeat clients to encourage specification of Brown Jordan products on active projects.

•   Plan and execute showroom merchandising updates, seasonal resets, and new product launches in coordination with marketing and product teams.

•   Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotes, and orders in the CRM; follow up on leads and open opportunities in a timely manner.

•   Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery scheduling, and issue resolution for showroom clients.

•   Host and support showroom events, trade previews, designer nights, and hospitality functions for key accounts and prospects.

•   Manage showroom sample inventory, fabric and finish libraries, and marketing collateral, keeping materials current and well organized.

•   Supervise, train, and mentor any showroom support staff, sales associates, or interns as applicable.

•   Prepare regular reports on showroom traffic, sales performance, and client pipeline for regional or corporate leadership.

•   Represent Brown Jordan at select industry trade shows, design center events, or corporate meetings as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

·     Schedule outside sales calls and presentations with local designers and landscape architects regarding updates on merchandising materials, campaigns, and new products.

·     Resolve all operational issues, common inquiries, and/or concerns that arise within the showroom.

·     Promote and support all Health and Safety guidelines within the workplace. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

·     Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct reports.

·     Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

•   5-7 years of experience in luxury retail, showroom management, interior design sales, or high-end furniture/home furnishings.

•   Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a client-facing, consultative selling environment.

•   Strong knowledge of, or demonstrated aptitude for learning, outdoor furniture materials, finishes, and design trends.

•   Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills with a polished, professional demeanor.

•   Experience with CRM systems and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.

•   Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage merchandising, inventory, and administrative tasks simultaneously.

•   Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architectural Studies, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

•   Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift showroom samples or materials up to 50 lbs. as part of showroom upkeep.
