Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Automotive Detailer to prepare completed vehicles for customer delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring every vehicle leaves our facility in showroom condition by performing interior and exterior detailing, final quality inspections, and supporting production with vehicle preparation.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys seeing a project through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Detailing
· Wash, dry, clay, wax, and polish completed vehicles
· Clean and detail interiors including seats, flooring, windows, trim, and cabinetry
· Vacuum and clean carpets and upholstery as needed
· Remove adhesive residue, fingerprints, dust, and construction debris from completed builds
· Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, and exterior accessories
Quality Control Support
· Perform final visual inspections for cleanliness, cosmetic defects, scratches, dents, or damaged components
· Report deficiencies to production supervisors before vehicle release
· Verify vehicle interiors and exteriors meet company quality standards
Shop Support
· Move vehicles safely within the facility and yard
· Maintain detailing equipment and supplies
· Keep detailing area clean and organized
· Assist production with miscellaneous finishing tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
· Experience detailing automobiles, trucks, RVs, boats, or commercial vehicles
· Ability to safely operate vehicles of various sizes
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the day
· Ability to work independently while meeting production schedules
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience in automotive detailing or vehicle reconditioning
· Experience with paint polishing and machine buffing
· Familiarity with commercial vans, emergency vehicles, RVs, or specialty vehicles
· Knowledge of proper cleaning products and detailing techniques
Work Schedule & Benefits
- Full-time position | 40 hours per week
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
