Job Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Low Voltage Technician to support new data center builds. This role focuses on installation work, not maintenance. You’ll be part of a team responsible for running and terminating fiber, installing infrastructure, and bringing new environments online.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, route, and secure fiber optic and copper cabling
- Terminate and test fiber (single-mode and multi-mode)
- Perform rack and stack of servers, switches, and related hardware
- Install ladder racks, cable trays, and support structures
- Label, dress, and organize cabling to industry standards
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and build plans
- Work closely with project leads to meet build timelines
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
Requirements
- Experience with low voltage or data center installations
- Strong fiber termination and testing skills
- Familiar with rack and stack procedures
- Ability to read prints and follow install documentation
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifts
- Basic hand tools and knowledge of industry standards (TIA/EIA, etc.)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications (BICSI, OSHA 10/30, Fiber certifications)
- Experience in large-scale data center builds
- Familiarity with testing equipment (OTDR, power meters)
Work Environment
- Active construction and data center environments
- Physically active role (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods)
- May include overtime depending on project deadlines
