What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cable Assembly Technician position at CableFlow, Inc.?
CableFlow is transforming how hardware designers build products—one wire at a time. We make it 10x easier for engineers to source their cables and wire harnesses. To help deliver the parts powering the technology of the future, we’re looking for an industrious, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join as an assembly technician.
The Job:
- Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to assemble cables and wire harnesses to industry quality standards.
- Operate benchtop tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, cutting implements, and soldering irons.
- Inspect and test finished parts using fixtures and specialized measuring equipment.
- Organize and kit raw materials and components for assembly.
- Pack finished parts for shipment.
- Provide feedback to internal engineering teams to improve assembly and fabrication workflows.
- Contribute to a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement.
You:
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Have fine motor skills, and engage in hobbies, such as jewelry, model building, electronics, or car audio.
- Are committed to craftsmanship and are driven by excellence.
- Have a growth mindset and are eager to learn or refine your skills.
