Job Summary
The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic maintenance services on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. This position plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining the safety and performance of their vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes on all types of vehicles
- Inspect and top off all vehicle fluids (coolant, brake fluid, power steering, windshield washer, etc.)
- Rotate and inspect tires; adjust tire pressure as needed
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades
- Perform multi-point inspections and recommend services to Service Advisors
- Maintain clean and organized service bays
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Assist other technicians as needed
- Keep accurate records of services performed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in automotive service or a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Basic mechanical knowledge and eagerness to learn
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
