Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate supplier proposals and analyze offers to ensure value and quality.
- Help negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts under supervision.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to maintain optimal stock.
- Review incoming materials for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Support vendor returns and resolve issues related to orders or deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field is a plus)
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets); familiarity with purchasing software or ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and willingness to take on new challenges
