SUMMARY 

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will research, plan, and execute strategies to optimize the company’s supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality products on time, complete, and within budget while meeting the company’s other operational and financial goals. 



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Optimizing Supply Chain Efficiency to Support Business Growth: 100% of the Job  



  1. Researches, plans, and executes on supply chain strategies to ensure high-quality materials are sourced efficiently, while supporting cost-effective materials and on-time production. 
  2. Evaluates and negotiates with material and shipping vendors to secure optimal terms and establish reliable sourcing alternatives for risk mitigation. 
  3. Oversees inventory control processes to maintain stock levels that align with new product launches, production needs, and customer demand. 
  4. Partners with manufacturing partners to ensure clear communication and outcomes on quality of work and delivery standards.  
  5. Manages and analyzes KPI’s with supply chain data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and inventory control enhancements. 
  6. Leads, mentors, and coaches the team to ensure continual development and outcomes for the group.  
  7. Develops and maintains supplier relationships to foster partnerships that ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and consistent quality.  
  8. Prepares and manages the supply chain budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring alignment with financial goals. 
  9. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the supply chain to minimize risks and maintain operational integrity. 
  10. Monitors and manages supplier performance to address quality or delivery issues proactively.  
  11. Collaborates with internal teams to align supply chain activities with the warehouse, sales, and customer service goals. 
     

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; will consider a combination of coursework and relevant experience. 


  • Experience:
    5 years of experience in supply chain or purchasing management roles, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
     


  • CertificationAPICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar certification is a plus. 


  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Proficient in ERP systems and supply chain software, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel). 


  • Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. 


  • Functional Skills:
    Strong planning, prioritizing, and execution skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate supply chain data, identify trends, and make informed decisions for process improvements.
    Advanced organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
    High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in procurement, inventory levels, and compliance with quality standards. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor terms and manage supplier relationships effectively.
    Solid understanding of logistics principles, including cost management, delivery timelines, and material flow optimization.
    Ability to independently assess risks and develop contingency plans for sourcing and supply continuity.
