Inventory Processing Specialist

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for inspecting and performing partial packaging for select products in
order to provide pre-packaged inventory for the shipping team to fulfill customer orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Light Assembly and Stocking (100% of the job)
● Works with the Processing Supervisor to maintain inventory levels by processing all
build-to-stock and special work order items
● Responds as needed to inventory needs for select orders
● Operates specialized packaging equipment and troubleshoots routine day-to-day issues
● Inspects select items for quality and reports defects
● Conducts cycle counts as needed
● Acts as backup for warehouse tasks, working independently where needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
● 2-5 Years of experience - can operate processes and work independently
● Associate’s degree preferred; will consider those with some associate degree completion and
transferable skills/experience
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
● Basic organizational skills
● Basic communication skills
● Strong attention to detail
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
● Ability to perform basic math and counting
● Ability to read and respond due to the nature of the work on a frequent basis
● Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
● Ability to stand at a desk workstation frequently
● Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, push, pull, and carry items
frequently
● Ability to use hands and fingers and to reach for and handle objects to perform tasks frequently
● Lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally
● Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to
adjust focus.
EQUIPMENT USED
● This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers (desktop and laptop),
printers, multiple displays, and wireless headset.

● This role may require you to operate forklifts, carts, dollies, and pallet jacks occasionally.
● This role routinely uses basic hand tools and other equipment such as: screwdrivers, auto tape
dispensers, and auto strapping devices.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS & TRAVEL
● The employee is primarily exposed to a normal office environment and an operations facility, with
varying levels of noise.
● The employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety
glasses, ear plugs, or steel-toed shoes.
