The Quality Technician position is accountable for leading and managing effective day-to-day quality by inspecting all incoming and outgoing products for defects to ensure quality products.

JOB SUMMARY:

Principal Functional Responsibilities
- Inspection of incoming and/or outgoing products for defects.
- Inspect product for accuracy, consistency, and finish quality, as needed.
- Communicate defects to necessary personnel.
- Repair cabinetry component defects when applicable.
- Communicate with various departments and personnel.
- Complete any necessary documentation and paperwork.
- Maintain production and quality standards.
- Follow all safety rules and work instructions.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- May rotate to other departments and duties as needed.
- Communicate with employees on a regular basis.
- Must have strong color vision with the ability to accurately distinguish subtle variations in color.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively.
- Ability to read the move ticket and understand ALL of its contents.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Must have good team work/communication skills.
- Identify any specialized equipment used in this job and indicate the daily percent of time spent on each.
