Principal Functional Responsibilities
- Perform assigned tasks on the production floor, including but not limited to offloading for machines, stacking product, gluing product, performing quality checks, and sanding.
- Follow written work instructions that apply to your department and your specific work tasks.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and quality to ensure that products meet specifications and customer expectations.
- Work safely and be safety minded.
- Must be 18 years of age by date of hire.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk, stretch, bend, squat, and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be safety minded.
- Must show excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand production paperwork and communicate with various departments and personnel to ensure all necessary workflow documentation and paperwork is completed
- Ability to work respectfully with coworkers as part of a team is required.
- Must have the ability to read a tape measure.
- Must be able to perform stretching exercises twice a day.
- Must be able to wear required PPE specific to the job assignment requirements, such as gloves, steel toed shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection.
- Must be able to evacuate independently when fire alarm systems sound.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and a criminal background check.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior woodworking, construction, manufacturing, or factory work experience is a plus.
