Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Builder to join our manufacturing and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality custom cabinets, ensuring precise measurements, craftsmanship, and adherence to client specifications. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish custom cabinetry according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment to produce precise components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans for accurate execution
- Install cabinets on-site with attention to alignment, fit, and finish standards
- Perform related tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, caulking, and finishing touches
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards
- Assist with site preparation activities including framing, drywall work, or siding as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in custom cabinet building or related carpentry fields such as trim carpentry or framing carpentry
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience with construction estimating, remodeling, or restoration projects preferred
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices and heavy lifting procedures
- Ability to perform precise measurements and detailed craftsmanship consistently
- Knowledge of various construction disciplines including plumbing, electrical work, masonry, roofing, and flooring installation is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control and efficiency
- Valid experience in the restoration industry or water damage remediation is a plus
